In the year 2018, Paulo von Poser received the semi grand prix in Flower Design Award, Matsuyama, Japan. Organized by the portal Designboom, in collaboration with Matsuyama Design Week, The judges were: Kengo Kuma – Architect, Kimi Hasegawa – designer, Birgit Lohmann – editor in chief designboom and Antonio Arico – designer industrial.
The proposal of the artist entitled “Oito Rosas para Masaoka Shiki”, It was designed starting from eight raikays poet Masaoka Shiki, born in Matsuyama, containing the word pink. Paul sent eight projects, these, seven were selected and the winning entry was Omen Rosa, consisting of a large iron sculpture screen, in a rose shape in crimson red, for climbing roses intertwine.
