Woody Woodpecker Brazil - 1993
Paul von Poser attended the show “Woody Woodpecker Brazil” in 1993, hidden behind a translucent fabric, painting a self-portrait of Tarsila do Amaral. The show was conceived in 1990 by dancer and choreographer Klaus Vianna, inspired by the work of Tarsila. In May 1992, shortly after the death of Klauss, the Zelia Monteiro ballerina (who accompanied him in his research since 1985) and the musician Danilo Tomic came together to put the practice in project. The assembly opened in January 1993, in Weeks of Dance event in Jardel Room Son, the Centro Cultural São Paulo. Click the link below and watch:
