In 1990, a MTV (
Music Television) debuted in Brazil. The first music video to be aired by broadcaster was “Garota de Ipanema”, interpreted by singer Marina Lima (Image above).
The video art direction was by Paulo von Poser and Mari Stockler. Paulo also created for the video a big inflatable doll entitled “Abaporú” (picture below). The general direction was Jon Klein.
