EXHIBITIONS

Curated by Teak Eça, great-niece of Artacho Jurado, and collective participation of students and teachers (coordinated by Carla Caffé and Paulo Von Poser), Galeria da Cidade receives the exhibition Artacho Jurado no Desenho da Cidade, about the self-taught architect who designed and built landmarks in modern São Paulo such as the Bretagne building, Cinderella, Louvre, entre outros.

PINK ROOM

Sala Rosa is an affective map of the central region of São Paulo, with traces that reveal an identity memory of the urban fabric, with its sensitive points to the ephemeral experience of everyday life in the city, where the works of Artacho Jurado appear as lighthouses, illuminating this reflection.

From a route traced on foot, starting with the Planalto building, in the region of the republic, and ending no Bretagne, in Higienopolis, impressions were collected, feelings, stories and personal experiences to develop a graphic path, incorporating digital mapping means and resources as an experimental research into other methods of observation and capture of São Paulo's landscape and life. At the end of the process, these designs integrate and overlap in a great bricolage.
