Paulo von Poser drew a rose for the first time in,pt 1984, to 24 anos, after observing a frame with roses painted by his grandmother Edith. In 1989 illustrated with drawings of roses Calendar Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo (MAC-SP), becoming known as the "Artist of the Roses".
Gradually, any theme related to roses became an obsession and Paulo began to collect everything from magazine and newspaper clippings to objects, books, pictures, poetry, songs and porcelain, trazidos various states of Brazil and countries visited.
The rose appears in most of his works as a signature.
